2025 SCPHA Annual ConferenceCall for AbstractsThe South Carolina Public Health Association is now seeking abstracts for our annual conference to be held March 24-28, 2025 in Myrtle Beach. The theme for the 2025 Conference is Telling our Public Health Story to Non-Traditional Partners. We welcome abstracts related to this theme which showcases both research and programmatic best practices in public health. Types of presentations that can be submitted: Demonstration, Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation, Paper Presentation, Roundtable Discussion, Workshop/Interactive Presentation Presentation Topics – you may select up to 5 topics to categorize your presentation: Behavioral Health, Communications, Community Health, Data Utilization, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Maternal and Child Health, Non-traditional Partnerships, Rural Health Each program and student abstract proposal must include at least two objectives and an abstract summary that is 250 or less words. For research proposals, we ask that you submit two objectives, a problem statement, hypothesis, methodology, and major findings/conclusion. Presenter Information: You will need to submit a headshot and credentials for each presenter. A bio must be submitted for the main speaker to proceed with the submission. While a bio for co-presenters is not required, we encourage you to submit a bio for each presenter either at the time of the submission or prior to the conference if your abstract is selected. Each presenter is required to submit a conflict of interest form. This form must be completed by all who plan to participate in the conference.
